We develop solutions that reduce environmental impact and deliver long-term benefits.
At TRUGUARD, we use our engineering expertise not only to ensure product performance but also to guarantee environmental sustainability. With our continuously improving approach, we develop long-term solutions that reduce environmental impact at every stage—from production to logistics.
Our sustainability strategy extends beyond our own operations to include the entire impact chain we create with our business partners. These goals serve as a guide, helping us proactively prepare for potential risks we may face in the future.
Our efforts align with the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 8
Decent Work and Economic Growth
SDG 9
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
SDG 12
Responsible Consumption and Production
SDG 13
Climate Action
SDG 17
Partnerships for the Goals
We believe that protecting the future is only possible by taking responsibility today.
Sustainable Transformation in Our Operations
As TRUGUARD, we adopt production approaches that minimize environmental impact and integrate innovation with sustainability principles. From R&D to logistics, and from energy use to waste management, we develop solutions that are mindful of both nature and human health across all our operational processes.
We view sustainability not merely as a goal, but as an integral part of the way we do business. At every step, we embrace our environmental and social responsibilities.
01
Energy Efficiency
With our approach of continuous improvement, we aim to reduce energy consumption in our production processes and minimize environmental impact.
High-energy-consuming systems have been upgraded with more efficient electric motors, significantly lowering operational energy demand.
Raw materials that preserve performance while producing less dust have been preferred in fan systems, improving air quality.
Systematic improvements have been implemented based on findings from energy audit reports.
02
Renewable Energy
Aligned with our climate-friendly production goal, our energy policy is based on renewable resources.
As of 2025, 65% of our energy needs are met through the Solar Energy System installed on the roof of our factory.
03
Waste Management and Recycling
The waste generated during our production processes is carefully monitored, classified, and extensively recovered.
By using KIVA-certified recycledLDPE raw materials during production, we reduce our environmental impact at the source.
We prefer 100% recyclable LDPE or cardboard materials for packaging. Our customers contribute to the process by delivering these packages to authorized recycling firms.
Scrap rates in our production lines are closely tracked and achieve high recycling rates:
In the LDPE packaging line, approximately 4% of production results in scrap, all of which is recycled.
For packaged products, this rate is 1%, and for paper and aluminum-based packaging, it’s around 5%—all delivered to licensed waste firms.
04
Eco-Friendly Chemicals
When selecting chemical content, we consider not only regulatory compliance but also long-term effects on human health and the environment.
Our products comply with international regulations such as REACH, RoHS, and TRGS 615.
By using bio-based raw materials, we reduce dependency on natural resources and benefit from renewable sources.
Additionally, 90% of the solvents usedin production are recovered through recovery systems, contributing to waste reduction.
05
Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chain Management
We design our procurement processes with environmental responsibility and shape our logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize carbon emissions. We aim to strengthen sustainability throughout the value chain by collaborating closely with our partners.
We prioritize working with suppliers that have environmental management systems such as ISO 14001.
Our bulk purchasing and centralized planning practices help prevent material waste and optimize transportation processes to reduce emissions.
Our in-house distribution network shortens delivery times while minimizing environmental impact.
06
R&D and Innovation
We focus on environmentally conscious, human-friendly, and long-lasting formulations in our product development processes.
By developing eco-friendly formulations, we reduce the environmental footprint of our products and reinforce sustainable production at the product level.
Our next-generation products contain ingredients that are harmless to human health, providing both occupational safety and environmentally responsible usage.
07
Product-Level Sustainable Contribution
TRUGUARD products not only provide protection but also contribute to sustainability through environmentally conscious usage. With smart formulation and ease of application, they reduce resource consumption and boost operational efficiency.
Our VCI packaging offers direct protection without requiring surface cleaning, eliminating the need for chemical usage.
Compared to traditional protection methods, they consume less water and chemicals, reduce environmental footprint, and ensure safer usage for operators.
